Near Santa Fe, New Mexico, just around the bend from famed Abiquiu
Just one hour from Santa Fe, but a world away. And one of the most beautiful drives in North America.
Water abounds
A year‑round, spring‑fed creek flows through your retreat, supported by a private aquifer and an ancient acequia—the enduring irrigation lifeline introduced centuries ago. Just a stone’s throw from Lake Abiquiu—the largest body of water for miles around at over 5,200 acres. This high‑desert sanctuary thrives on the rare magic of water: life, creation, transformation. High desert plus water makes all the difference.
High-desert, but not what you think.
Unlike the scorching heat of southern New Mexico or Arizona, our climate is mild, elevated, and beautifully temperate. Summer days are warm but never overwhelming — and thanks to thick adobe walls and cool mountain breezes, our homes stay so naturally comfortable, we don’t even need air conditioning.
