Acequia
at the LAND

A historic irrigation channel that winds through the LAND, the acequia carries the memory of ancient farming traditions and the sacredness of shared water.

Water, so scarce and precious in the high desert, was revered. The acequia that ran behind our house brought more than water—it brought stories.

Rudolfo Anaya

Fed by snowmelt and mountain springs, the acequia weaves quietly through the orchard and fields, a living link to centuries of land stewardship. Guests are invited to walk alongside it, listen to its song, and honor its life-giving presence.
